conscious change

menopause support
Menopause is a stage of life marked by changes in estrogen production and includes the phases of perimenopause and postmenopause. Clinically, menopause is defined as occurring after 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period.
During the transitional phase of perimenopause, many women experience psychological and emotional changes such as mood fluctuations, increased anxiety, sleep disruption, and physical discomfort. These changes can significantly affect daily functioning and overall well-being.
Therapy during this stage provides a supportive and validating environment to explore these experiences, address emotional and mental health concerns, and develop effective coping strategies. Open dialogue about physical and emotional changes is an important part of enhancing quality of life during midlife transition.
For many women, this period also becomes an opportunity to reassess priorities, redefine identity, and intentionally shape the next stage of life.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I am also a Certified Health Coach. When appropriate, health coaching can complement therapy by supporting lifestyle balance and personal goals. Using the Wheel of Health, we identify areas of focus and work collaboratively toward meaningful, sustainable change.
Insurance coverage may apply to psychotherapy services. Please feel free to contact me to discuss options and determine eligibility.
